Why Some Effect Combinations May Not Work

If you're trying to reverse engineer a set of effects and getting no result, it doesn't necessarily mean the system is broken — it just means the solution might be complex, rare, or currently undiscovered.

About the Reverse Engineer

The reverse engineer tool attempts to simulate possible ingredient chains that produce your desired effects. It does this by testing different paths and transformations, some of which may overwrite or cancel others along the way.

Because of how effects interact, some combinations are more difficult to achieve than others — and in some cases, they may be logically impossible within the current ingredient set. However, the engine is constantly improving to better understand and recover from overwritten effects, and to test deeper, smarter combinations over time.

Please Be Patient

Finding certain effects may take a moment. If you're not seeing results, try simplifying your combination, experimenting with a different base strain, or reviewing ingredient logic manually in the Calculator page.

The system is still learning. What fails today may work tomorrow.
